Before Your Trip

What is the best time to travel to Vietnam?

Vietnam can be visited all year round, but weather conditions vary by region:

  • North (Hanoi, Sapa, Ha Long Bay): Ideal from March to May and September to November
  • Center (Hue, Hoi An, Da Nang): February to August to avoid the monsoon
  • South (Ho Chi Minh, Mekong Delta): Tropical climate, dry season from November to April
Do I need a visa for Vietnam, Cambodia or Laos?

Vietnam: French citizens benefit from a visa exemption for stays up to 45 days. Beyond that, an e-visa (90 days) or traditional visa is required.

Cambodia: Visa required, available as e-visa or on arrival (approximately $30 USD for 30 days).

Laos: Visa required, available on arrival (approximately $35-40 USD for 30 days).

We assist you with all visa procedures during the preparation of your trip.

What vaccinations are recommended?

No vaccinations are mandatory for travelers from Europe. However, it is recommended to be up to date with standard vaccinations and to consider:

  • Hepatitis A and B
  • Typhoid
  • Japanese encephalitis (for extended stays in rural areas)
  • Rabies (for treks or adventure stays)

Consult your doctor or an international vaccination center before departure.

What budget should I plan?

The budget varies depending on the level of comfort desired. For a 2-week trip (excluding international flights):

  • Standard comfort: €1,500 to €2,000 / person
  • Superior comfort: €2,000 to €2,800 / person
  • Luxury: from €3,000 / person

These budgets include accommodation, transport, main meals, activities and a French-speaking guide.

During Your Trip

Will I have a French-speaking guide throughout the trip?

Yes! All our trips include a local French-speaking guide who accompanies you throughout your stay. Our guides are passionate experts of their country, able to help you discover local culture in an authentic way.

For multi-country trips, you will have a different guide in each country, all French-speaking. English-speaking guides are also available on request.

How does 24/7 assistance work?

Throughout your stay, you have access to an emergency number available 24/7. Our local team can intervene quickly if needed:

  • Problem with a booking
  • Medical emergency
  • Last-minute program change
  • Any other situation requiring assistance
What type of accommodation do you offer?

We select charming accommodations that reflect the authenticity of each destination:

  • Boutique hotels and guesthouses
  • Nature lodges
  • Private cruises (Ha Long Bay, Mekong)
  • Homestays (with your agreement)
  • Luxury hotels on request

All accommodations are visited and approved by our team.

Are meals included?

Most of our tours include:

  • All breakfasts
  • Lunches during excursions
  • Some special dinners (cruise, homestay)

We intentionally leave some meals free so you can discover local cuisine on your own. Your guide will always be available to recommend good places!

Booking and Payment

How do I book my trip?

  2. Personalized exchanges: We define your ideal trip together
  3. Detailed quote: You receive a complete program and transparent quote
  4. Confirmation: After validation, payment of 30% deposit
  5. Balance: Due 45 days before departure
What payment methods are accepted?

We accept several payment methods:

  • Bank transfer (recommended)
  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Check (French residents only)

Payment in installments is available on request.

Can I cancel or modify my trip?

Yes, you can modify or cancel your trip, subject to the cancellation conditions detailed in our Terms and Conditions.

We strongly recommend taking out cancellation insurance to protect yourself in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Do you offer travel insurance?

Yes, we offer several travel insurance options in partnership with recognized insurers:

  • Cancellation insurance: reimbursement in case of cancellation for legitimate reasons
  • Repatriation assistance insurance: medical coverage and repatriation
  • Baggage insurance: compensation in case of loss or theft
  • Comprehensive formula: complete coverage
